FAQ

Questions,
answered.

What does BackMaxx track?

Your Back Score out of 100, six back zones and eight back muscles scored individually, your rank on a nine-tier ladder, your workout history, your progress photos, and earned trophies.

How does the back analysis work?

You take one photo from behind with the selfie camera and a five-second self-timer. An AI vision model estimates development across six visual zones and eight muscles, then turns the lowest scores into training priorities. It is fitness guidance, not a medical measurement. The full method is here.

Do I need a gym?

No. Your plan is built from the equipment and training environment you choose during setup. 46 of the 77 exercises in the library work at home — see the home list.

Are my photos public?

No. Scan photos are analyzed and then discarded — they are never stored on our servers. Progress photos stay on your device. Leaderboard visibility is off unless you turn it on. Read the privacy policy.

How much does BackMaxx cost?

The app is free to download and your first scan is free. BackMaxx Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, weekly or yearly, for unlimited scans and the full plan. Prices vary by territory and are shown in the app before you buy.

Is BackMaxx on Android?

Not yet. BackMaxx is iPhone-only and needs iOS 26 or later. There is no Android app and no web version.
